“This isn’t over yet, with new viruses being born all over the world. In China, 40 million people have been put on lockdown at the same time. We, too, have fought off the three waves, but we lost some of our friends and family. “Mr Thackeray said that, as well.

The Chief Minister also said that he would write a letter to the Central Government about making vaccinations compulsory and cutting the time to get a booster dose for people who have already had two doses of the vaccine down to seven months.

The Chief Minister also looked over the pre-monsoon work and told the District Collectors to think about the possibility of a cyclone in the coastal areas.

He also told him to make sure that the problems of the general public at the local level would be solved as soon as possible and that the Ministry of Defense would handle only policy issues.
