Delhi Police Seized around 100 Oxygen Concentrators from Khan Market.
Delhi police made a raid to the Khan Market on Friday and recovered more than 100 oxygen concentrators used to treat Covid patients, authorities said on Friday.
According to Delhi police, 96 oxygen concentrators recovered from Khan Chacha restaurant. Nine concentrators recovered from Town Hall restaurant specializes in the Khan market area.

The government, in April, allowed the importation of oxygen concentrators for personal use until July 31, through postal, messaging, or e-commerce portals in the category of gifts, amid the increase in cases of COVID-19 in the country.
One of them is medical equipment that concentrates oxygen from ambient air, which is crucial right now. It is in high demand due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in the country.
Unlike oxygen cylinders, these concentrators capture and filter the air that can only store a fixed amount of oxygen.
The recovery of concentrators comes amid a severe shortage of medical oxygen supplies and beds in the city’s hospitals.
This morning, the Supreme Court ordered the central government to supply 700 metric tons of oxygen to Delhi every day until the new orders. The city’s hospitals continue to weather a sharp increase in Covid infections.
Police arrested four people in the Lodhi colony area on Wednesday for allegedly engaging in the black marketing of oxygen concentrators. Local people got outraged after the news come out, and they demanded no mercy for those involved.
