Deepak Chahar of the Chennai Super Kings is set to miss the first half

A right quadriceps injury that Deepak Chahar got in the third and final T20 match against the West Indies in Kolkata will keep him out of the first half of the Indian Premier League, which starts next month.

People who work for the BCCI say that Chahar is likely to be out for about eight weeks.

Chahar will be out for at least eight weeks, which means he won’t play in half of the IPL 2022.

It’s March 26, and CSK is still waiting for a report from the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, where the pacer is getting better.

In this year’s IPL auction, Chahar was bought by CSK for a whopping Rs 14 crore.

This is the second most expensive buy in this year’s IPL auction.

In the final T20 against the West Indies in Kolkata on February 20, the 29-year-old hurt his right quadriceps.

He was then ruled out of the three-match T20 series against Sri Lanka, which India won 3-0.

So far, his international career has been short, but he has already taken 10 and 26 wickets from seven ODIs and 20 T20 games each.

Chahar comes down the list, but he has also made many good things happen for India.

In ODIs, he has scored two fifties, with 69 not out being his highest score.

The IPL 2022 will be played from March 26 to May 29.
