Elon Musk Reacts To Amber Heard‘s And Johnny Depp’s Cases.
After their attorneys made closing arguments in their defamation trial, Elon Musk finally broke his silence regarding Amber Heard and her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, with words of praise for both performers.
Initially identified as a prospective witness, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, who dated the actress for several months following the acting couple’s divorce, did not testify in the case.
The jury began deliberations on a judgment on May 27 and is scheduled to return to the court following Memorial Day weekend on May 31.
Musk tweeted on May 27, hours after the hearing closed, “I hope they both move on.” “They’re all amazing when they’re at their best.”
Musk made his remarks in response to Lex Fridman, an MIT research scientist, and podcaster.
“My takeaways from the Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard trial:” Lex tweeted. 1. Fame is a powerful drug (for some). 2. Psychiatrists and attorneys have vastly different levels of expertise. 3. Humans can deceive millions of people. 4. Love may be a chaos. 5. A ginormous pint of wine.”
Johnny Depp has filed a $50 million lawsuit against Heard for allegedly defaming him in a Washington Post op-ed.
She stated, “I became a public figure representing domestic abuse,” without naming the actor.
Heard is suing Depp for $100 million in retaliation. Each accuses the other of domestic violence during their marriage, although both deny the abuse.
Depp accused Heard of having an intra-marital affair with the millionaire in his defamation case.
“Unbeknownst to Mr. Depp, she was spending time in a new relationship with Tesla and Space X creator, Elon Musk, no later than one month after his marriage to Ms. Heard,” the complaint claims.
Around July 2016, Heard and Musk fueled relationship speculations.
In April 2017, they made their first public appearance together and became Instagram official. However, multiple stories said the couple had broken up the following August.
