Dharmesh Sharma, the leader of the BJP, said Friday that he will keep working to make the party stronger so it can win the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
There is a new deputy chief minister in the new state government: Brajesh Pathak, a leader of the Brahmin group.
Some new ministers took their jobs this week. He said, “May the double-engine government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath keep working for the people of this state.”

“I will keep working for the party, and I will try to make it even better for everyone. To be a party worker, I will do everything I can to help the BJP win in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, “Mr. Sharma told PTI that he did this.
Mr. Sharma said that he didn’t want to be the next leader of the BJP in Uttar Pradesh.
It’s possible that Swatantra Dev Singh, who was elected as a cabinet minister, will leave, and a new state unit chief of the BJP may be chosen.
It used to be that Sharma, who is now 58, used to be the mayor of Lucknow. Because he didn’t run for Assembly, he didn’t get elected.
He is a member of the state’s Legislative Council at the moment.
On Friday, Yogi Adityanath was sworn in as Uttar Pradesh’s second chief minister in front of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and key BJP leaders.
Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak were also sworn in as deputy chief ministers and their new jobs.
