According to officials quoted by PTI, a blast occurred outside the intelligence section of the Punjab Police in Mohali.
According to ANI, the police have sealed off the area surrounding the workplace, and the explosion was minimal.

“A small explosion was detected at approximately 7:45 p.m. at the Punjab Police Intelligence headquarters in SAS Nagar’s sector 77.” There has been no damage recorded. Senior cops have arrived on the scene and are conducting an investigation. ‘Forensic teams have been summoned,’ Mohali Police told ANI.
According to an official, several persons tossed an item in the workplace.
The area around Mohali Sector 77 has been blocked, and an investigation is underway.
