The 20th edition of the Indian Television Academy Awards was held in Mumbai on Sunday. One of the most prestigious awards celebrating excellence on the small screen, it also recognized the best of the digital platform this year. To celebrate its historic year, the ITA Awards also honored popular television and web shows that have left their mark on the hearts of audiences over the past two decades with the “Milestone” and “Landmark” awards.

Actor Dheeraj Dhoopar returned home with three trophies, one for ‘Best Actor’ and the others for his Kundali Bhagya and Naagin 5 shows. Sharing a photo flaunting the shiny trophy, he wrote on Instagram: “I don’t even know where to stop. get started … thank you so much @theitaofficial for honoring me with the Best Actor Award tonight? ♥ ️! Special thanks to Anu Ma’am @ anuranjan1010 and Shashi ji! Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s producer Rajan Shahi also shared a photo with his lead actors Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi, celebrating the recognition given to his show.
