The Undertaker appears to have quietly announced his retirement, as in the latest episode of WWE wrestling legend docuseries “The Last Ride” he’s intended never to return to the ring for another match.
The Undertaker, whose real name is Mark Calaway, said “it was a perfect ending to his career.” The last time he faced AJ Styles was at WrestleMania 36 in a “Boneyard Match”.
“I’m at a point where this time the cowboy is really leaving,” said The Undertaker.
“I think I’m in a place now, after Boneyard, which was a hellacious battle against one of the best in the business. Here you are, getting on your bike and taking off. There was a lot of thought and a lot of emotion, one of those was” are you happy enough with that? “It was a powerful moment. You don’t always necessarily get them.”
“If there was ever a perfect ending to a race, it was time. If Vince was in trouble, would he come back? I guess time would only tell there. In an emergency, break the glass, take out The Undertaker. I would consider it. At this point in my career, I don’t feel like going back to the ring, ”he said.
Furthermore, WWE has also been tweeting after the completion of the documentary and the posts also hint at The Undertaker’s retirement.
