The Indian Davis Cup team was drawn to face Norway in its next World Group I tie on Thursday.
This away contest will be held in conjunction with the Asian Games in September.
The tie for the Davis Cup will take place on September 16-17, 17-18 or 17, while the Asian Games tennis events are scheduled to take place from September 10-14.
It will not be possible to reach Norway even if the Indian players have completed their Asian Games engagement before April 14. The players must adjust before they can take to the court.

The All India Tennis Association (AITA) will have to ensure that India is represented at both events.
