IPL 2021, KKR vs RCB match postponed due to the two KKR players finding Covid 19 positive.
The KKR player Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier tested positive for Covid 19 before the game.
The IPL officials said that they will test the KKR camp daily now and reschedule the match later.
KKR player Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier reported positive in the third round of testing in the last four days. But, the good news is all other team members tested negative for COVID-19.

Today’s match between KKR and RCB has been postponed by the BCCI as per IPL Safety Guidelines after Varun Chakaravarthy and Sandeep Warrier tested positive for COVID.

IPL Authorities issued a statement, saying, “The medical team is in continuous contact with the duo and monitors their health. In the meantime, the Kolkata Knight Riders have now moved towards a daily testing routine to identify any other possible causes and treat them as soon as possible”.
“The Medical Team is also determining the close and casual contacts of the two positive cases during the 48 hours before the collection of the sample that yielded the positive test results,” he added.
KKR last played the Delhi Capitals in Ahmedabad on April 29. IPL Authority is not sure how those two get affected by Coronavirus in front of an empty stadium.
However, not only KKR players get affected by the deadly Coronavirus. But, CSK bowling coach Laxmipathy Balaji also tested positive for Covid 19.
