Last 24 Hours Covid-19 Cases in West Bengal Decreases.
May 18 West Bengal Government imposed lockdown and strict restrictions in the state to prevent infection. As a result, the daily Covid-19 cases are gradually decreasing.
At the same time, the number of active cases is giving temporary relief. However, the Covid status of Kolkata and North 24 Parganas is still very worrying. These two states’ covid infections are not controlling much.

According to the state health department on Sunday, 18,422 people reported Covid-19 positive in the last 24 hours in West Bengal. Of these, 3,056 people recorded Coronavirus positive in Kolkata. In terms of spreading the infection, North 24 Parganas is ahead of them.

In one day, 3,771 people reported Covid-19 positive in the last 24 hours. The number of infected people in one day in South 24 Parganas is 1,248. In Howrah Coronavirus positive cases, 1,239and Hooghly is 1,312.
Significantly, daily infections are increasing in Nadia. In the last 24 hours, 1,095 people tested Covid positive in Nadia. Condition is going worse in Darjeeling too. There are 731 coronaviruses positive reported in 24 hours.
As a result, the total number of corona cases in the state has increased to 12 lakh, 8 thousand 90 people. 156 people died of the virus in one day. So far, the total death by Covid-19, recorded in West Bengal, is 14,364 people.
However, in the last 24 hours alone, 19,429 people recovered. At present, the recovery rate is 8.56 percent.
