Macron announces a re-election campaign to safeguard the French from the ‘world’s problems.
Paris: Emanuele Macron said that France’s elections would be held in April.
He wants to keep the euro zone’s second-biggest economy on track through the fallout of Russia’s attack on Ukraine and the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a letter, Macron said that he was running for president. It was published in several newspapers in the area.
The first French leader who won a second term would be him in two decades.
“We haven’t done everything we set out to. But, because I’ve learned from you, I’m likely to make some decisions that I wouldn’t have made before.

“People who have been attacked by militants and COVID, as well as people who have rioted, have been on the list of things Macron has had to deal with in the last five years.
He said unemployment is at a 15-year low to back up his record. But, then, he said, “I’m running to protect our values from the world’s problems.”
Macron didn’t give a detailed manifesto, but he said that he would cut taxes and get the French to work more.
He also said that he might bring back abandoned pension reform. He also said that the education system should be changed. He said teachers should be more accessible and get paid more.
A few weeks or so before the first round of the election on April 10, Macron joined the race for the presidency.
Opinion polls say that he is the favorite to win a race where there are many people from both the right and the left trying to split the vote.
The Ukraine war has already thrown the election into chaos, making it more difficult for Macron to enter the race and leaving two far-right candidates who had been polling well to defend their pro-Russia, pro-Putin positions.
FOREIGN POLICY VS IDENTITY
French President Emmanuel Macron is in charge of European efforts to end the conflict with a ceasefire and a peaceful end.
This means that a campaign with fewer rallies by the incumbent and an unusual focus on foreign policy is coming up.
Macron, who has talked to Putin on the phone 11 times this year, says he will keep going as long as the war continues.
In a letter, he says he won’t be able to campaign as he would have liked because of the war.
That might not hurt him. A rise in support for Macron has been seen in polls, as far-right leaders Marine Le Pen and Eric Zemmour have changed their views on Moscow, and there has been a lot of support for Ukrainian refugees. More: read more
Even though Zemmour, a former TV commentator known for his anti-immigration views, said in response to Macron’s letter that the leader did not share his values.
“Because of Emmanuel Macron’s work, France has changed a lot since we were kids. He hates who we are. We love it and want to pass it down to our kids. “Zemmour said that, and I agree with him.
It would be hard for Macron to beat Valerie Pecresse, a center-right conservative in third place but would be his toughest opponent in a runoff.
She said Macron is running because he hasn’t done the reforms he should have done over the last five years. “You need the courage to change. I have it, too,” she said.
Five years ago, Macron became the youngest French leader since Napoleon. He said he would break the old left-right divide, make France more attractive to investors, and strengthen the EU.
Anti-government “yellow vest” protests and the COVID-19 pandemic forced him to stop his reform plans.
