A TIGRESA that was lost in a village was captured and taken to the Gorewada rescue center in Nagpur on Sunday night and Monday, while a “troubled” tiger, who had killed five people in Chandrapur and was captured by the department forest, died in El center on Monday morning.

The official added: “He had been showing aggression since he was brought to the center and was not eating much. Doctors perform an autopsy and we will know the cause of death only after that. We have not ruled out the snakebite.
