- If you can’t communicate or locate Ranni in her home in the Church of Ellen, you can find her at the Liurnia of Lakes after you beat the Royal Knight Loretta. This battle might not reward with Spirit calling bells, or Lone Wolf cremated.
- Go to the Ranni’s Rise situated at the Caria Manor for the next meeting. She’ll situate on the top level of the manor.
- Choose the no specific reason choice when she asks what brought you here.

- Lake of Rot Shoreside, the place of Grace to secure your location. It is essential to utilize this Dark Moon Ring to travel to the Lake of Rot. When you arrive, you can relax at Lake of Rot Shoreside.
- Begin your journey toward the Grand Cloister located to the south of the Lake of Rot.
- You can find the human body of Ranni located in a small cave.
- Be closer to her, and communicate with her so that you can put a ring on her finger of her.
- After wearing the ring, her body will be completely liberating.
- She accepts you as Lord of her and offers the possibility of a future meeting.
- She’ll release the Dark Moon Greatsword item before disappearing into the night.
