Pakistani sailor Mohammad Irfan made the news last night after rumors abounded on social media about his death in a car accident. However, the cricket player dismissed all reports and confirmed that he was well and healthy along with his loved ones.
Urging Internet users to stop spreading unsubstantiated rumors, the 7-footer went to Twitter and wrote: “Some social media outlets have spread false unsubstantiated news about my death in a car accident.”
“This has bothered my family and friends beyond words, and I have been receiving endless calls about this. Refrain from such things. There was no accident and we are fine, “he added in his tweet.
