Monsoon in West Bengal 2021 Forecast: Pre Monsoon Rain will Start Soon. 

June 1 is the scheduled day for the arrival of the monsoon in India. But, this monsoon season is not starting at the right time this year. However, the pre-monsoon rains have already begun in different parts of the country. Rainfall has also started in Bengal.

According to the Weather Department, the pre-monsoon rains will continue for a few days in the districts of North Bengal. Heavy rain is forecast in Alipurduar and Kochbihar in the next 24 hours. Heavy rains may occur in Darjeeling and Kalimpong in the next 48 hours. 

There is no estimate of much rain in Kolkata and adjoining areas. On the contrary, the temperature is likely to rise in South Bengal in the next 48 hours.

According to the meteorological department, a cyclone has formed over Bihar and nearby districts of North Bengal. Due to this, much water vapor is entering the state by filling the south wind and south-west wind. Active monsoon winds are also advancing in the Bay of Bengal.

 Due to this, we can see a pre-monsoon rain situation in the state. Rain will continue for at least five days in North Bengal; such is the weather office’s forecast. The amount of water vapor in the air is 85 to 94 percent. 

Therefore, it will cause moisture discomfort. The minimum temperature in Kolkata on Tuesday morning was 26.6 degrees. The sky is heavy from the morning in hot weather. Partly cloudy throughout the day. It may rain a little in Kolkata after the evening.
