NHL eases COVID protocol for players who are vaccinated.
On Monday, the National Hockey League and its players’ association issued modifications to the COVID-19 protocol.
It includes the removal of testing every day for all fully vaccinated players in light of the declining number in positive instances.

In addition, the league was particularly hit between mid-December and mid-January due to the spreading of the highly infectious Omicron variant.
Since then, the situation has changed. In response to the case, the league announced it would implement the changes to allow vaccinated players and other club staff to return in “a more normal and less regulated approach” from the COVID viewpoint.
The league stated that there had been substantial vaccines by teams and players. They also urged players to get booster shots.
The changes will affect every club following their last game before February.
