Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed confidence that India’s increasing capabilities in drone technology will bring the world a new leader, as the prime minister alighted 100 ‘Kisan drones’ from different areas of the country to spray pesticides other agricultural products.
PM Modi announced the drones on Friday. Officials described it as a “novel and exciting initiative” for farmers.

In his speech, the prime minister stated that drones are a new culture startup forming in India.
Their numbers are expected to grow hundreds of thousands, compared to over 200 today, which will lead to the creation of job opportunities on a vast scale.
He stated that the government of his country would ensure there’s no obstacle to the development of the sector and has already implemented some reforms and policies to encourage its growth.
This illustrates how high the nation can fly if the policies are in place, Modi said, noting that drones were primarily related to the defense industry for a while.
This is the beginning of a new chapter for modern farming technology in line with modern times.
It will become a significant milestone in the growth of drones and provide endless possibilities, he stated.
The prime minister stated that his government was not wasting time worrying regarding opening the drone industry but believed in the country’s talented young people and embraced the new perspective.
The prime minister said that his government had prioritized innovation and technology in its Budget and policy initiatives.
The drone’s diverse applications, Modi said, have been utilized in the ‘Swamitva Yojana, which aims to create a record of the land ownership in villages and transport vaccines and medicines.
He claimed that ‘Kisan drones would be the first step in an entirely new era.
Farmers will be able to use drones with high capacity in the future to transport their crops such as flowers, fruits, and vegetables to markets in a short time, increasing their revenue.
