Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal hit back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday regarding his support of the aide who turned critic Kumar Vishwas’s comments.
The comment was made about Kumar Vishwas’s assertion that the late Mr. Kejriwal would like to be the President of Punjab or even the Prime Minister of an Independent Nation (Khalistan), which had triggered political unrest scene this week.

He said Prime Minister Modi should nominate him to be the sole force to fight terrorists.
In a public forum in Lucknow yesterday, the CM Kejriwal declared, “BJP got raids conducted by all agencies, but they didn’t get any reward. I want Modi Ji to eliminate all agencies and keep the poet in his job. He will reveal whom he believes is terrorist” said the news channel ANI.
When I asked them, they claimed that the poet from Ghaziabad was in a dream where Kejriwal had been a terrorist.
In a rally in Punjab, PM Modi has advised people to pay attention to Kumar Vishwas’s claims and claimed that Mr. Kejriwal, along with his party, shares the “same goals” as Pakistan — “to cut off India… to cooperate with separatists to take the upper hand”.
“They (AAP) have been prepared to work with separatists to gain the power. They are prepared to disintegrate the country should it be necessary. Their goals are not dissimilar from the plans of their adversaries and Pakistan. They are echoes of Pakistan’s position regarding surgical strikes. This is why they are seeking to expand the networks of drugs within Punjab,” PM Modi had stated.
PM Modi’s comment was based on an interview with Kumar Vishwas with ANI, in which he stated, “One day, he (Mr. Kejriwal) told me that he was either going to be CM (of Punjab) or the first Prime Minister of an autonomous Nation (Khalistan )… he wants to be a PM at any cost”.
Political rivals immediately took issue with the report by accusing the Delhi Chief Minister of supporting separatists.
The Congress’s Rahul Gandhi, who demanded that Mr. Kejriwal take action on the issue, stated, “Kejriwal has not responded… since the person who founded AAP (Kumar Vishwas) is speaking the truth.”
The Election Commission, which initially prevented the media from airing the interview, labeling his remarks “provocative that caused a lot of division, and was also inflammatory,” was later able to lift its ban.
Citing a scene from the blockbuster film “Sholay,” Mr. Kejriwal today claimed he was a “terrorist who terrorizes the corrupt.”
“There are two types of terrorists. One terrorizes people, while the second is a threat to corrupt people. Kejriwal is one of the terrorists who scares the corrupt. There is a line from the Sholay film… Jab bachcha bhrashtachar, bachcha bhrasht maa kehti hai soja Beta varna Kejriwal Aa jayega (If one is caught in corruption, the mother tells him that son sleep or else Kejriwal will arrive),” he said.
In the next sentence, as he intensified his remark, he said, “If BJP and Congress were working in the past seventy years ago, they could not have requested votes under the guise of work. They now have to seek votes through making Kejriwal as a terrorist”.
“First, the farmers in the country were accused of being terrorists. Now all those who are poor and relying on bicycles are being labeled terrorists,” Kejriwal said. Kejriwal added.
