Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate the Global Patidar Business Summit (GPBS) organized by Sardardham today. The Prime Minister will officially open the event at noon. The summit is taking place in Surat.
On Twitter, PM Modi stated that the summit aimed to promote entrepreneurial spirit and value-creation among the young.
According to the Prime Minister`s Office (PMO), The Sardardham is planning to organize GPBS under the ‘Mission 2026’ to boost the socio-economic advancement for Patidar. Patidar community.
The Summit is held at least every 2 years. The Summits that preceded it took place in Gandhinagar in 2018 and 2020. The current Summit is taking place in Surat.
The main topic in GPBS 2022 will be “Aatmanirbhar Community to Aatmanirbhar Gujarat and India.”
According to the PMO, The Summit seeks to unite small, medium, and large-sized businesses within the community. Help and encourage new entrepreneurs, and offer training and assistance with employment to educated and aspiring youth.
The three-day Summit, which will be held between April 29 and May 1, will focus on various aspects of the government’s industrial policy, MSMEs, start-ups, and innovation, among other things.
