Rafael Nadal tested positive for Covid-19: Rafael Nadal was optimistic for COVID-19 after returning from an injury at an Abu Dhabi exhibition last week.
“I’m having some difficult moments, but I hope I get better.
“I am now homebound and have reported the result for those who have been in touch with me,” Nadal stated in a statement.
According to a 35-year old, he had been tested negative on all three of his trips to Abu Dhabi and Kuwait.
He also said that he had failed two tests while in Kuwait.
“I’m having some difficult moments, but I hope I get better. He wrote that he is now homebound and reported the results to all those in touch with him.
“As a consequence of the situation, I must have total flexibility about my calendar and will analyze my options depending upon my evolution.
He said that he would keep you updated on any future tournament decisions.
Nadal was sidelined for four months due to a foot injury.
After being knocked out by Roland Garros in the semi-finals.
Nadal was forced to withdraw from Wimbledon, Tokyo Olympics, and U.S. Open.
He had previously stated that he couldn’t guarantee he would make it for the Australian Open on January 17.
