Jaipur: In an attempt to connect with farmers through Kisan Mahapanchayats held by Congress in the Hanumangarh and Sri Ganganagar districts of Rajasthan on Friday, “charpai” Y “mudda“Chairs were placed on the dais for the party leader, Rahul Gandhi, and others to sit.
At the first rally held in Hanumangarh city, Pilibanga, all the leaders sat on cots on stage.
Later, Gandhi addressed his second rally in the city of Sri Ganganagar, Padampur, where mudda chairs were placed on the stage instead of a sofa.
This arrangement was made to give the stage a farmer feel and connect them with the leaders, said a party leader.
Gandhi was accompanied by Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, AICC General Secretary for Rajasthan Ajay Maken, AICC (organization) Secretary General KC Venugopal, State Party Chairman Govind Dotasra and former Senior Deputy Minister Sachin Pilot.
In addition to Rahul Gandhi, Govind Dotasra, Ajay Maken, and Ashok Gehlot also addressed farmers.

On Saturday, Gandhi will visit Ajmer and Nagaur districts and address farmers. Nagaur is a center of farmers’ politics.
