Reach Out To Individuals: To Odisha's Newly Sworn-In Ministers

On Sunday, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik advised his newly inducted Cabinet Ministers to ‘Tour’ more and reached out to as many people as possible to “strengthen the grassroots more.”

After the whole cabinet members resigned from their respective roles on Saturday, Naveen Patnaik summoned a meeting shortly after the swearing-in ceremony of the new Ministers.

The Chief Minister added one more ‘T’ to the mantra of 5 Ts, which includes Team Work, Technology, Transparency, Transformation, and Time Limit, with ‘Tour’ being the most recent addition.

“The only way to lead the people is to serve the people,” Naveen Patnaik stated on Twitter, sharing a photo of all the new Cabinet Ministers.

Naveen Patnaik directed his ministers to strive for the people’s welfare, visit every district, block, and gram panchayat, spend more time with them, and make every attempt to keep all of their pledges.

On Sunday, 21 ministers (13 Cabinet and 8 Minister of State – Independent charge) were sworn into the Naveen Patnaik Cabinet, five of them being women.

The reshuffle was carried out to give fresh faces a chance to integrate a mix of youthful and experienced BJD leaders into the cabinet ahead of the general and assembly elections in 2024.
