How to Make a Minecraft Repair Table for Bows
An Anvil is essential to repair your bow and other things. To make an anvil of your own, you’ll find enough iron ingots to make three iron blocks (27 ingots since each block needs nine bars) and the remaining four nuggets.
It could appear like a lot of sacrifice for the anvil, but it is beneficial. It not only repairs your weapons and other equipment, but it also lets you mix enchantments and alter the name of your objects.
However, if you cannot find the time to create your own, locate the one you want in an adjacent town and then mine it with your pickaxe. You won’t know what struck them.
Repairing a Bow in Minecraft
All you need to do is put the bow in the anvil. After that, you can set the additional material bows are constructed of is placed within the next slot. The anvil will fix the bow for you and preserve any enchantments on the bubble.
Alternatively, you could use a different bow instead of using materials to build an older bow because they’re not challenging to locate.
If you own two bows with enchanted enchantments that occupy space in your storage, you could combine them using the anvil to make an even more powerful weapon.
Another way to fix your bow is to use the table for crafting. However, the drawback is that enchanted bows cannot repair using this method.
However, if you attempt to fix one, it will be reduced to a standard bow that has some slight improvements in endurance. So it’s not the ideal choice for a trade-off.
How to Repair Infinity Bow
The Infinity Enchantment lets you use your bow but not make use of any bubbles. As a result, it gives you an infinite amount of ammunition. However, your enchantment on your bow can cause one major drawback.
Bows with Infinity cannot also be equipped with the ‘Mending’ enchantment that allows you to fix it using XP. However, you can select your Infinity Bow with an anvil; however, the components required will be considerably more.
The Infinity Enchantment is expensive to repair, and the cost increases with each repair you make. After four repairs with an anvil and a bow and an anvil, your Infinity Bow is not a viable repair.
It’s better to make an entirely new Bow and then enchant it by using Infinity once more if you’re keen on not carrying the arrows around, either. But, of course, if it were us, we’d throw Mending on bows and make the arrows, given how popular the materials used to make these.
