Russia moves the troops from the Far East closer to Europe

Russia moves the troops from the Far East closer to Europe.

There was a big protest in Moscow on March 1 against the U.S. and the West.

Troops from Russia’s the Far East will hold drills in the Astrakhan province, which is on the border between the European and Asian parts of the country, the Interfax news agency said on Tuesday.

The troops will learn how to move military units over long distances and how to do other things, the district command said.

It was last week that Russia started a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Before that, it had gathered more than 100,000 troops near its borders for drills.
