According to a Defence Ministry spokesman, the Russian military used the Kinzhal aviation missile system to demolish an underground storehouse containing munitions belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to RT, the Kinzhal aircraft missile system with hypersonic aeroballistic missiles destroyed the warehouse in Ukraine’s Ivano-Frankivsk area on Friday, according to Major General Igor Konashenkov, the ministry’s official spokesman.

The Kinzhal, one of six new Russian strategic weapons disclosed by President Vladimir Putin earlier this month, entered service in December 2017.

According to the government, the Russian coastal missile system ‘Bastion’ also destroyed Odessa’s radio and electronic intelligence centers.
