Sidhu Moose Wala's Family Receives His Body After Autopsy

Sidhu Moose Wala, a Punjabi musician and Congress activist, was shot dead on May 29, and his corpse was returned to his family today from the Mansa Civil Hospital.

The deceased was sent to the hospital for a forensic investigation.

On Sunday evening, Sidhu Moose Wala was shot and killed in Punjab’s Mansa district after Punjab Police reduced the security cover of 420 persons, including himself.

Punjab Police held six persons on Monday in Dehradun, Uttarakhand’s capital, in connection with the murder of Moose Wala.

In a combined operation with Dehradun Police, the Uttarakhand Special Task Force (STF) and Punjab Special Task Force (STF) captured six persons who reportedly offered assistance to the assailants in the death of Sidhu Moose Wala.

After Canada-based mobster Goldy Brar claimed responsibility for Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder, the Delhi Police’s Special Cell began interrogating gangster Lawrence Bishnoi in Tihar prison in connection with the crime.

Lawrence Bishnoi’s close aide Goldy Brar is also suspected of being involved in the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala.

Meanwhile, Punjab Police have connected the murder to an inter-gang feud in their preliminary inquiry.

After Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Jawaharke village in Punjab’s Mansa district, Punjab Police have filed a police complaint or FIR against unknown individuals.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court sent a notice to the state government on Monday, asking for a thorough report on the number of persons whose protection was lowered or removed and the reasons behind the decision.
