Madras, April 6: Tamil Nadu Assembly elections ended peacefully on Tuesday and voter turnout stood at 71.79 percent with people sealing the fate of nearly 4,000 candidates, including AIADMK’s K Palaniswami and DMK chief MK Stalin, the main contenders for power.
