“The SP and the BJP are two sides of the same coin, and it seems that Yogi-Akhilesh is a brother who had got separated. The mentality of both is the same. Both are cruel and arrogant. They do not consider themselves leaders, but as emperors,” PTI quoted Owaisi as declaring.

Narendra Modi criticized the Prime Minister for banning triple-talaq during his election rallies. The Hyderabad MP stated, “Modi talks about triple talaq. But, in this instance, we should be saying talaq, and talaq to the BJP as well as the SP, which is the end of the tale (in Uttar Pradesh).”

Owaisi made these scathing remarks at a meeting of the polls at the Madhogarh Assembly constituency of Jalaun district as he campaigned on behalf of AIMIM’s Bhagidari Parivartan Morcha alliance of which AIMIM is part.

The MP claimed that both Adityanath and Yadav speak in the same manner in addition to saying, “They do not give any importance to the Constitution. They want to gain power for themselves.”

Akhilesh talks about (Muhammad Ali) Jinnah. The BJP to bring up Mughals in UP polls, and SP for bringing Jinnah’s name up, Owaisi said, “The BJP talks about defeating the Mughals for winning elections. The Mughals have died, and their bones have melted. Only at the time of elections are they brought back. Hence, either of these parties coming to power will not be in the interest of Dalits, backward and minorities.”

The AIMIM chief claimed that BJP got the support of backward classes in the name of Hindutva However, it “gave the power reins the reins of power to “baba” (Adityanath) and who propagated “Thakurvad.”

Owaisi has also criticized SP by stating, “The only thing implemented under the SP regime in Uttar Pradesh was “chacha pota, nati, and chacha.”

The third phase, the polling, will take place on the 20th of February in Uttar Pradesh, and the last step will be held on March 7.

The counting of votes is scheduled to occur on March 10.
