MISTER. EDEN, Bronx – A pair of thieves attacked a 61-year-old man in the Bronx, then stole a bag of gloves, disinfectant wipes and a mask, police said Thursday.
The thieves saw the victim in a building on East 170th Street on Monday and asked what was inside her purse, authorities said. Once they were outside, the men attacked.
They hit the victim in the face and threw him to the ground before stealing him.
The victim refused to receive medical attention.
Police asked for help identifying the thieves. Both men were last seen wearing black hats. One of the men was wearing a black jacket and black jeans. The other man was wearing a gray sweater and dark pants.
