Genshin Impact Thunder Sakura Locations
Thunder Sakura are Electro-charged trees located on Kannazuka island in Inazuma. The island has five trees total, and they’ll hit the person in front of you with lightning if you are close enough to them.
This Sakura Arborist World Quest has the players searching for them to cleanse the toxins. After being washed and safe, they’ll not cause any harm, so it’s worthwhile to complete.
When you’re done, your quest can make a zone safer to visit, similar to what’s happening when you complete Orobashi’s Legacy and Seirai Stormchasers quests. Oborashi’s Legacy as well as the Sierra Stormchasers missions.
First Thunder Sakura Tree
First, Thunder Sakura is directly in the middle of the cliff Miyuki sits on when you begin the quest. However, in case you can’t notice it, here’s a picture:
To purify the tree and “remove the juvenile antics” according to the quest, you’ll need to use your Elemental Sight and lure trees into striking bright blue spots on the ground using lightning. Be sure to have healing equipment and characters on hand for the event you are hit and you’ll suffer.
Repeat this process for each of the trees to be safe for you to walk around again. Again, try not to be struck when in water, as that could cause more damage.
Second Thunder Sakura Tree
Another tree can be just north of where you first meet Miyuki in your Tatara Tales quest. It’s to the north of Kujou Encampment and is located along the coast. It’s necessary to leap into a cliff to reach it.
Take care when purifying this one as if you do it, two Electro Abyss Mage will attempt to kill you at the bottom of the tree. So prepare yourself for battle when you have completed your mission here.
Third Thunder Sakura Tree
A third tree is close to the Statue of the Seven on Tatarasuna Island. After warping around your statue’s height, you’ll find yourself standing on an incline.
You can jump down to reach your Thunder Sakura.
The enemies won’t suddenly appear, but there’s a close Cryo Abyss Mage and Hydro Samachurl.
Stay near the tree if you don’t want to fight the two in a potentially fatal fight.
Fourth Thunder Sakura Tree
The fourth tree is west of the top Teleport Waypoint on Tatarasuna Island. Then, look left, and you’ll be able to see the tree beneath that you. Then, float down and cleanse it.
This tree is secure, too — in addition to lightning strikes. There are no enemies that will appear to attack you following the conclusion of the purification.
Fifth Thunder Sakura Tree
Fifth and last, Thunder Sakura is located directly to the north of where you are currently. It’s a little higher in elevation, and the simplest way to reach it is to return to the Teleport Waypoint at the top and walk over into the forest.
The tree is suitable for a safe walk after cleansing. Then, return to Miyuki for the next stage to Sakura Arborist. You’ll have to take on a handful of Treasure Hoarders, then an Electro Hypostasis to finish the mission.
