There is a money-laundering case in West Bengal linked to a coal scam in India. Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee will be questioned by the Enforcement Directorate in Delhi on Monday (March 20).
Banerjee and his wife Rujira flew to Delhi. They’ll be in front of the ED in Delhi tomorrow, so they left. Banerjee told reporters that the BJP-led government used the ED and the CBI for political reasons.

“It was in 2020; I said that anyone who can show me that I stole even 10 paise will walk up to the podium and have me hanged in public. ED and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) don’t need to be behind me, so I don’t need them, “West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s nephew told PTI.
Alleged that the BJP can’t deal with the loss in the 2021 West Bengal assembly elections, they’re using the CBI and ED to get back at the TMC.
“People in the BJP want to use the CBI and ED to help them. Some haven’t yet come to terms with the fact that their brazen use of money and muscle power in the assembly elections didn’t work out for them. “It was added to Diamond Harbor MP.
“I will meet with ED tomorrow. I also have faith in the courts. We (TMC) will not give up. “Banerjee said that, and I agree with her.
There will be a meeting with the ED in Delhi on March 21 and 22 for Abhishek Banerjee and his wife.
When Banerjee and his wife asked not to be questioned in Delhi because they live in West Bengal, the Delhi High Court said that was not the case.
Last Year in September, ED officials were questioned Abhishek Banerjee for over eight hours in the same case.
