NCP is not likely to work with the AIMIM
AIMIM MP Imtiaz Jaleel proposed a coalition with the three-party Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), led by the Shiv Sena party.

NCP president Sharad Pawar said his party was not interested in a coalition with AIMIM.
The Shiv Sena party has already said no to Jaleel’s idea for an alliance.

Mr. Pawar said that he had read Imtiaz Jaleel’s statement. “I want to clarify that this is not our party’s position,” he said.

He said: “They can talk about alliances, but the parties they are talking about should at least think about it.”

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) wanted to form a tie-up at the state level. Still, Mr. Pawar said that the national committee of political parties has to agree to form such a tie-up first.

Mr. Pawar was at another event when he talked about a possible meeting with officials about a new airport in the city of Pune. The location of the new airport hasn’t been decided.

“There are a lot of defense establishments in and around Pune. Every morning, the IAF runs training missions in these areas. We need to know what they (the defense) think, so we’ll meet in the next two weeks, “Pawar said that.

His party was called the “B” team of the Indian BJP. Jaleel, an AIMIM MP, said that in Aurangabad on Saturday when he spoke.

“Shiv Sena doesn’t have enough strength to defeat the BJP alone. This is why they need the help of Congress and the NCP. Let us add another wheel to the three-wheeled autorickshaw and make it a more comfortable car. People who didn’t want to sing “Vande Mataram” in the Aurangabad municipal corporation have been expelled. He has now joined the NCP, ” He told a Marathi news station.
