Two adventure games are free to play on Steam for a limited time.
Okay, look. Not all old games need the label ‘classic’ applied to them, or subjected to lavish remasters and revivals. The Syberia series gained impressive stature among adventure game fans in large part. Also, these game series receive a lot of positive reviews on steam.
The reason behind this, they came out at a time when there weren’t many point-and-clicks to enjoy, and that’s fine. But I enjoy digging through the games of yore as much as anyone, and now you can get hold of the first two Syberia at an unbeatable price.
Syberia and Syberia II both are free on Steam at those respective links. You have until September 29 at 10 a.m. M. PDT / 1 p. M. EDT / 6 p. M. BST to claim them, but once you do, they will remain in your library forever, just like with any game you would buy with money.
Syberia 3 It’s also currently on sale at an 85% discount, though players don’t consider it particularly highly, due to technical and gaming issues. The fourth game, Syberia: the world before, is gearing up for a December release.
