Union Minister Prahlad Singh Patel on Modi govt's next BIG move: a population control bill

According to Union Minister Prahlad Singh Patel, the Narendra Modi-led NDA administration is planning to introduce a population control bill shortly. The Union Minister for Food Processing Industries was in Raipur for the ICAR-National Institute of Biotic Stress Management, Baronda’s ‘Garib Kalyan Sammelan.’

When reporters questioned a population control bill, Patel answered, “Don’t worry, it will be delivered shortly. The rest will follow when such significant judgments have been made.”

Patel also aimed at Chhattisgarh’s governing Congress, stating that the state has failed to meet benchmarks set by the federal government.
