The mother of Indian women’s team cricketer Veda Krishnamurthy, Cheluvambda Devi, died due to COVID-19.
The Bengaluru cricketer tweeted about her mother’s death on Saturday.
“I appreciate all the messages I have received regarding the loss of my Amma. As you can imagine, my family is lost without her. Now we pray for my sister. I have tested negative and appreciate it if you can respect our privacy. My thoughts and prayers are with those who are going through the same thing! ”Veda wrote.
