World shocked at images of civilian killings in Ukraine’s Bucha.

Appalled by images from Ukraine’s Bucha, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called for an independent investigation into civilian deaths in the Ukrainian town near Kyiv on Sunday.

Gutters, who used Twitter to express his views, stated that finding the truth about these crimes is critical.

“The photos of victims slaughtered in Bucha, Ukraine, have left me speechless. An independent investigation that leads to effective accountability is critical, “Guterres tweeted.

On Sunday, the images in question were released. According to sources in the media, the clip was shot in the village of Bucha near Kyiv. It showed several bodies lying on the road.

A blindfolded man’s body lies on the road with his hands tied with a white cloth in one of the disturbing photographs.

The photographs elicited powerful emotions from people all across the world.

The Russian Defense Ministry stated that all photographs and footage allegedly showing Russian troops’ crimes in Bucha are another provocation in response to these comments. As a result, all Russian units withdrew from the town as early as March 30.

The Russian Defense Ministry has described the Ukrainian authorities’ actions as a staged operation.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on the other hand, called the incident “genocide.”

During a CBS News interview, he was asked, “When asked if Russia is committing genocide in Ukraine on “Face the Nation,” Zelensky replied, “Indeed.” This is genocide in action.”

Dmitry Polyansky, Russia’s First Deputy Envoy to the United Nations, stated on Sunday that Moscow had sought a meeting of the UN Security Council for Monday, citing “provocation by Ukrainian radicals” in Bucha.

Sputnik quoted Polyansky as stating, “Because of the blatant provocation by Ukrainian radicals in Bucha, Russia has urged a UN Security Council meeting be convened on Monday afternoon, April 4.”

“The Ukrainian instigators and their Western supporters” will be exposed, he added.

Meanwhile, the US Embassy in Kyiv issued a statement denouncing the Bucha deaths, stating that the photographs emerging from the region were “horrific” and that “appropriate actions” would be taken.

The photographs coming out of Bucha, Ukraine, and other locations vacated by Russian President Vladimir Putin’s forces are “horrific,” according to the US embassy in Kyiv, which promised action.
