Sources say that Yogi Adityanath will be sworn in as the next Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on March 25 (the following Friday).
During state elections last week, the BJP won a record number of votes. It had been 37 years since a party had been in power in the country’s most populous state, but now they were back in charge.

As a result, Adityanath met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders of the BJP in Delhi.
These leaders included Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. Adityanath talked about the new cabinet and post-election strategy.
Keshav Prasad Maurya lost the election to Pallavi Patel of the Samajwadi Party by 7,337 votes. It is being talked about whether the BJP will hire a new deputy CM.
As of now, the BJP has 255 of the 403 seats. Its two allies got 18 more seats. They think Adityanath’s popularity has risen because his leadership was at the heart of India’s ruling party, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
