100 People Returns from Abroad Hiding in Thane Amid Omicron Scare.

On Monday, Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation director Vijay Suryavanshi said 295 of the recent foreigners. However, all of them who had returned to the township of Thane district were not traceable at present.

Unfortunately, they turned off the mobile phones of a few of them. As a result, many of the last provided addresses were discovered as locked.

Suryavanshi confirmed that those returning to KDMC restrictions from every “at-risk” nation must undergo a seven-day home quarantine. A COVID-19 test will take place on the 8th day.

“Even if it’s negative, the person will be required to endure a further seven-day home quarantine. It would be the responsibility of housing society members to ensure that the law isn’t violated. Weddings, gatherings, etc., are monitored to prevent the infringements,” he said.

“Some 72 percent of the people in KDMC have taken the first dose of the vaccine, and 52 percent are fully vaccinated,” said the doctor.
