Superstar Hrithik Roshan took to his Instagram account to tell his fans about Jodhaa Akbar’s 13 years. Yes that’s right, this epic period drama starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan came out 13 years ago today. On this special occasion, Hrithik, who rehearsed the role of Emperor Akbar in the film, left an endearing note about it. The film’s anniversary also coincides with director Ashutosh Gowarikar’s birthday and he wished her the wish too.
His post contained a video with some highlights from the film and he wrote: “Regards. #JodhaaAkbar
Man, this movie was tough. I was very scared when Ashutosh Gowarikar offered it to me. I couldn’t understand how he could see someone like me commanding 10,000 soldiers. But that’s what a director does. He imagines what you can’t. And that is why I made the movie. More than the script or the story, it was to experience what that impossibility would do to me, how it would change me, maybe make me stronger. And what I learned was that to do strong things, you don’t need to be strong in the beginning! In fact, the decision to want to be strong comes before. AND IT MEANS having to choose what is beyond your ability to choose. Trusting that your own experience will do the rest. The challenge itself creates the strongest of you.
Is magic.
Try it.”
