14 Days Lockdown in Karnataka from today: Check What is Allowed.

Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa said essential services will be allowed between 6 a.m. M. And 10 a. M. And public transportation will be closed.

The Karnataka government has announced a two-week total shutdown and a curfew starting today (Tuesday, April 27). The announcement comes a day after the state reported its largest single-day increase of more than 34,000 new cases.

On Sunday, Karnataka reported 34,804 new COVID-19 cases, bringing his total cases to 13.39 lakh. While the number of deaths in the state increased to 14, 426 with a total of 143 deaths reported yesterday.

At a press conference after the cabinet meeting, Karnataka’s Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa announced that the entire state, including Bengaluru, will see a total shutdown for two weeks starting at 9 pm on April 27.

“The COVID curfew will be implemented in the state starting today at 9 pm for the next 14 days. Essential services allowed between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. After 10 am, stores will close. Only the construction, manufacturing, and agriculture sectors are allowed. Public transport will remain closed ” Yediyurappa said.

In addition, in his press conference, the Chief Minister stated that people will be able to buy essential services from 6 am to 10 am and after 10 am the stores will be closed.

Karnataka Lockdown Guidelines

Check what is allowed:

– Essential services for the public from 6 am to 10 am

– Only the construction, manufacturing, and agriculture sectors are allowed

– Home delivery of alcohol is allowed

– Travel allowed for emergencies.

– The operation of the manufacturing sector is allowed, except the sectors of clothing, agriculture, and construction.

Check what is not allowed:

– After 10 am, the shops will be closed

– Public transportation will be closed throughout the state.

– Travel between states or between states will not be allowed

In the middle of the COVID-19 crisis and rise, the capital of Karnataka, Bangalore staggers under a crisis of ventilators and ICU beds with patients waiting hours to be admitted to hospitals. Currently, the state is already under a night curfew.
