Fresh Cases In India,

India has seen a 6.7 percent rise in new Covid cases, as they recorded 2.64 new infections in the past 24 hours. The number of deaths due to Covid has increased by 315, and total deaths are now at 485,350. The health ministry reported.

  1. The active cases account for 3.48 percent of total infection, while the COVID-19 recovery rate in the nation has slowed to 95.20 percent.
  2. The positive rate for each day was recorded as 14.78 percent, while the weekly positive rate was 11.83 percent. The total doses given across the country thus far in the national vaccination campaign are more than 155.39 crores as per the ministry’s figures.
  3. Maharashtra is one of the states most affected by the Covid pandemic, reporting 46,406 cases of coronavirus, 317 fewer than a day earlier there were 36 deaths caused by the virus. The state did not report any new Omicron disease was reported in the state, according to the report.
  4. On Thursday, Delhi witnessed the highest-ever daily rise in Covid infections, with 28.867 new Covid cases. The positive rate jumped to 29 percent, which means that for every three tests conducted, one patient tests positive.
  5. Kerala reported more than 10,000 new cases for the second day in a row, with the state reporting 13,468 cases, which increased the number of cases to 53,17,490. Kerala’s southern state recorded 12,742 cases one day earlier.
