Two people were detained after a SWAT situation at a hotel in Blue Ash Monday night. According to Blue Ash city officials, the Blue Ash Police Department attempted to negotiate with two people inside a room at the Quality Hotel Inn in the 6100 block.

However, 33-year-old Joseph Walters was arrested and faces charges involving felony extradition nationwide for resisting arrest and obstruction. 33, was also arrested and faces charges of resisting arrest and obstruction. Police are still investigating.

Two people were arrested after a SWAT situation at a hotel in Blue Ash on Monday night.

According to Blue Ash city officials, the Blue Ash Police Department attempted to negotiate with two people inside a room at the Quality Inn hotel in the 6100 block of Pfeiffer Road for several hours.

The Hamilton County Police Department and SWAT executed a search warrant at the hotel around 5 p.m.

Joseph Walters, 33, was arrested and faces charges related to nationwide felony extradition, a resisting arrest, and obstruction order.

Authorities said 33-year-old Ashley Miller was also detained and faces charges of resisting arrest and obstruction.

In the meantime, police are still investigating.
