Sir Ganga Ram Hospital sent an emergency message to the Delhi government yesterday, saying there are only five hours of oxygen left at the facility and requested to replenish it urgently.
There were 510 coronavirus patients, including 142 patients on high-flow oxygen support, admitted to the hospital located in central Delhi. “The hospital is in contact with the agencies. I need urgent supplies,” said the official.
Earlier in the day, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (SGRH) had said its oxygen reserve could last until 10 a.m. Friday. “Many more patients with high-flow needs were admitted to the hospital. Almost 40 patients are extra”, said the official.
