3 people were killed in a shooting in downtown Philadelphia.
Philadelphia: Multiple gunmen opened fire in a famous downtown Philadelphia entertainment area late Saturday night, killing three people and wounding at least 11 others.
Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw stated that investigators suspect one of the victims, 34-year-old Gregory Jackson, was targeted.
“He was engaged in a physical fight with another person, which might have been the catalyst for the shooting. These two people finally started shooting at each other, and one of them was killed.”
Alexis Quinn, a 27-year-old woman, was one of the two others slain. The third victim has yet to be named. However, he was described as a 22-year-old man.

Around 11:30 p.m., police officers monitoring the area on South Street in downtown Philadelphia heard many gunshots, according to Outlaw.
According to Outlaw, cops rushing to the area spotted numerous persons with gunshot wounds. One officer witnessed a suspect fire a pistol into a crowd.
According to Outlaw, an officer fired a shot at a suspect shooting into the crowd. Philadelphia police think the officer struck the perpetrator.
Outlaw claimed the suspect “dropped his revolver on the sidewalk and sprinted southward,” adding that the suspect was “lost in the area.”
According to Outlaw, the injured victims varied from 17 to 69 years old. However, according to authorities, a 23-year-old man was wounded numerous times in the “torso region” and is in serious condition.
Damien Woods, a representative for Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, stated that one individual had been released earlier in the day.
According to a police statement, in addition to the 11 persons hurt by gunshot, a 49-year-old woman was injured when struck by the smashed glass.
Police claimed they found two firearms, one of which had an extended magazine. However, there have been no arrests.
