36 New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Singapore in last 24 hours.

Singapore: Singapore has reported 36 new Covid 19 locally transmitted viruses As of Friday, August 20, and placed in quarantine according to the Ministry of Health, MOH, in Its preliminary daily update. 

According to the report, nineteen Covid infections were found in cases that had occurred before. Three other infections were also linked. Surveillance testing was used to detect the problem.

Two of the cases were from people over 70 years old. They are unvaccinated/partially vaccinated and are at high risk of severe complications of MOH.

Four imported cases were also placed on the shelves. Stay-at-home notice or isolation upon arrival. Three infections were identified Detected upon arrival, while one develops the illness during the Stay-at-home information or isolation period.

On Friday, Singapore had 40 COVID-19 new cases.

MOH will provide further updates Friday night regarding the COVID-19 situation in Singapore.
