PM Modi

PM Narendra Modi slammed opposition parties over their promises regarding government jobs to the people of Uttar Pradesh.

They offered only two lakh government jobs over a decade (governments that were part of the Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party); in contrast, Modi’s Yogi government gave five lakh jobs in the last five years.

“Today, the parties (opposition parties) continue to mislead young people in the state in the name of job opportunities. The truth is that in the last 10 years, they offered government jobs to only two lakh people, all because of nepotism (Bhai-Bhatijawad), casteism, and the prevalent corruption, “said PM Modi as he addressed a gathering in Prayagraj.

“Yogi Adityanath’s government provided five lakh jobs to the government over the last 5 years,” the minister said.

The Prime Minister also said that the jobs offered under the Bharatiya Janata Party’s rule did not reflect the criteria used by opposition parties, but rather, “jobs were offered with complete openness to the children of poverty.”
