6 Death by Massive Explosion in Karnataka
The Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka was shaken by the horrific explosion. The blast took place at a mine in Hirenagaveli village in the district. The gelatin stick is said to have exploded. At least six people have been killed in the incident. Two people have been arrested in connection with the blast.

It is learned that the blast took place on Tuesday morning. The bomber struck shortly afternoon in front of a car packed with gelatin sticks. A complaint has been lodged with Peresandra police station. Police are investigating the whole incident. Note that a similar explosion occurred in January. Six people were killed in an explosion in Seba Shivamogga district. Two people were also arrested in that incident.
According to police and local sources, the intensity of the blast was so high that the car was severely damaged. The bodies have been torn apart. The bodies could not be identified. Karnataka Health Minister K Sudhakar visited the spot on the same day. “The explosives were kept illegally,” he said. Action will be taken against those involved in the incident. The minister further said, “I have informed Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa about this incident. Police have arrested two people. The Karnataka chief minister said he had spoken to officials and minister Sudhakar about the incident and ordered an inquiry. The state home minister also visited the spot.
