A fire broke out at APJ House on Park Street in Kolkata.
Again a fire broke out at the APJ House on Park Street in Kolkata. As per the locals, the fire caught on the fifth floor. The building is being empty as the smoke is constantly coming out. Five fire engines arrived at the spot and started working.
However, every effort is going on to bring the fire under control. There are several offices in that building. All of the people evacuated safely and reported no injury still now.
In the meantime, the local police officials also reached the spot. They are searching for the source of the fire. They said every possible effort would bring the fire under control and further escalating into a major fire.
After the incident, state minister and city administrator Firhad Hakim and fire minister Sujit Basu arrived. Firhad Hakim said, ‘The the fire has spread quickly inside an office. Meanwhile, no one was there and none injured.
Police will investigate the cause of the fire as soon as the fire is under control.
