A massive fire utterly destroyed Kashmir’s biggest orthopaedic hospital on Friday evening.
The fire broke out at the Government Bone and Joint Hospital at Barzulla in Srinagar.
Hundreds of patients and their caregivers had to be taken out of the building.
There were explosions of gas tanks and medical equipment in the particular hospital that went off.

There are 250 beds at the hospital. All of the wards were full of patients and caregivers when the fire broke out on the third floor of the three-story building.
Officials told the New York Times that there was no way to figure out what caused a fire right away.
First, the fire was seen in the Emergency Theater.
It quickly spread to all the wards, including those for trauma and emergency.
“There is no death. All of the patients have been taken out of the building safely. “He is the Deputy Commissioner of Srinagar.
He said the fire had been brought under control.
